About this film
A cooperative story
Tosepan Titataniske is the cooperative featured in this COVOLV documentary from Puebla’s northeastern highlands. The film explores collective action and local responses to economic needs.
The original film describes the cooperative as a response to the scarcity and high cost of everyday goods. It reports reach across 290 communities and 22 municipalities and approximately 22,000 Nahua and Totonac families; these are figures given by the film, not a current membership count.
